Dry Hair Treatment

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

I spent a large amount of time swearing at my natural curls, without knowing what to do to keep them healthy. I presumed it was hopeless, and I just started wearing it up in a bun or a ponytail.

Even the ponytail was a unhappy sight to behold.

Everything I assumed I knew about dry hair treatment was inaccurate, and it wasn’t till I learned what to do did I start to really love my curls for what they are.

You do not have to have natural curls to have dry hair. It happens to any one, and many folks can get benefits from a good dry hair treatment. The trick is knowing how your hair grows, and what you do to cause the damage. It’s correct that heat and styling can hurt your hair, but that doesn’t suggest you cannot do it. You have to do it less than you are accustomed too. You also need to find the right products to put in your hair, and know the way to give yourself a dry hair treatment. If you believe purchasing salon products for your hair is a waste of cash, think again. They’re at times the sole dry hair treatment you want. Pair these with a regular trip into the salon for a trim and that might be all of the dry hair treatment you want.

If you are terrified somebody will cut off too many of your curls, search to find someone that has experience with natural curl to chop your hair for you. You will also get a protein treatment from your salon, though I do not know how those work. Bear in mind the best dry hair treatment is to economize on the hot styling tools, purchase a conditioner and shampoo made for dry and damaged hair, and to make certain you get a trim at least once each 2 months. One thing more.
