So, you’re going to earn your Calculus credit by taking the Calculus CLEP exam instead of semester’s worth of Calculus classes. Wondering what to study to prepare for the Calculus CLEP test? Here’s what you’ll need to know.
There are 45 multiple choice questions on the Calculus CLEP tests and they cover everything you would have learned had you taken Calculus. Here’s a breakdown of the areas covered on the Calculus CLEP test along with the percentage of the test that covers that area:

- Limits (5% of the exam)

You’ll pass the Calculus CLEP exams and receive CLEP credit only if your score is 50 or above and you’ll find out your score as soon as you finish the test.
One of the most important things to remember is that not answering a question is the same as getting it wrong so you may as well guess on the questions you don’t know the answers to.
You have ninety minutes in which to answer all 45 questions and if you can score a 50 or above, you’ll be get the CLEP credit for Calculus and you’ll never have to do any Calculus homework.
